NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man has denied being behind a fire that gutted 78 Degrees West Lounge. Prosecutors allege that 28-year-old Deon Ferguson torched the Gladstone Road club on June 12, 2025, causing $28,000 in damage. Ferguson entered a not guilty plea to the arson charge at his arraignment before Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns. Ferguson, who remains behind bars, will learn his trial date on February 25.
