NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors won’t retry a man accused of squeezing a child’s butt. Roysmel Mendez was accused of committing the crime against an eight-year-old on April 10, 2023. A retrial was ordered in 2024 after jurors failed to reach a verdict in the indecent assault case. However, the DPP ordered the discontinuation of the case this week.
