Recently, she organized an elevated brunch to show her appreciation for them. Our Denielle Miller has the details in this upcoming report. Denielle Miller – demiller@cablebahamas.com “A woman chose to bring her vision of a catering business to life amidst a global crisis, and as a result, she fostered a supportive community.” Co-owner of Ambrosia Catering, Keishanne Evans—a company founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, she hosted a customer appreciation event called “Paradise in Eden,” an immersive brunch held at Graystone Property. At the event, she revealed the company was established in 2020, during the global pandemic. She expressed that the concept came to her after recognizing the public’s yearning to return to normalcy, with dining experiences being a crucial aspect that was missing during that period. Keishanne Evans – Co-owner, Ambrosia Catering “We saw the need when the pandemic came and the restaurants weren’t open. You couldn’t sit down and have that meal, and people were missing it because, like I said, food brings people together—food are memories.” Soon after that realization, she began her work—recruiting bartenders, servers, and cooks. She not only offered services to clients but also created jobs during a period of uncertainty. Keishanne Evans – Co-owner, Ambrosia Catering “Ambrosia Catering and Desserts—the core of us is community, and I believe that as we continue to grow in our experiences, we continue to grow in our communities. Where we are today is the perfect example of that.” She added that at the elevated brunch, everyone in attendance played a pivotal role in that community and contributed to the success of the startup company in their own unique way. Keishanne Evans – Co-owner, Ambrosia Catering “The core group that are here today are actually very special and near and dear to our hearts—people that have been with our company from day one, and one or two invited guests or friends. People that have poured into the vision, people that have been here from the first plate, the first cake, the first meal that we’ve ever prepared.”
