Gas Station Owner Warns About ABM Safety and Pump Etiquette

Many residents also use the ABM machines, as they provide a quicker, easier way to get cash, but, is it actually safer? Bahamas Petroleum Retailers Association Vice President, Vasco Bastian, shares what he has noticed in recent times. Vasco Bastian – Bahamas Petroleum Retailers Association Vice President “I also want to encourage young women in this country, when you come to any gas station whether it’s Rubis, Esso or Shell, be very cautious. Look at your surrounding, especially also when you go to gas station [to] use the ATM machines, please secure your cash in your pocket immediately.” However, that’s not his only concern – he says customers are also ignoring another fundamental rule. Vasco Bastian – Bahamas Petroleum Retailers Association Vice President “And please, please turn off your engine when you come to the gas station [when parked] because you don’t want to cause a fire.” Meanwhile, the US-Iran War to create consequences that extend far beyond the Middle East. The region plays a key role, not only in global energy supplies, but also shipping routes which could affect the price of fuel locally, but Bastian says there’s no need to panic.
