Health Minister Tours New Nurses’ Dorms to Be Complete in 1 Month

& Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement ABACO , BAHAMAS – The Ministry of Health and Wellness, along with technical staff, toured clinics and new nurses’ residences on the island of Abaco on Thursday morning. The new facilities are a welcomed addition to the northern island that has been rebuilding key infrastructure since the passing of Hurricane Dorian. The first stop on a clinical tour, led by Health and Wellness Minister, Dr. Michael Darville, began with a 15-minute ferry ride to Man-o-war Cay. Touring the quaint community’s newest clinic, that is complete with nurses’ quarters, Darville thanked the wide cross section of groups that donated funds to get this clinic to where it is today. Darville added that the previous clinic was demolished, and this new clinic is expected to be opened in about one month. The health ministry will be responsible for staffing and running the clinic. They will work along with the Man-O-War community to ensure excellence is delivered for tourists and residents
