Man Accused of December 2025 Armed Robbery Now Behind Bars

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is behind bars after prosecutors say he robbed a man last December. Demetrius “Frowsy” Brown, 30, is accused of holding up Durante Dean at gunpoint on December 26, 2025 and robbing him of a 2002 Suzuki Swift and $3,000. Brown didn’t have to plead to the armed robbery charge when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley. Bail was denied and the matter was adjourned to June 18 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers.
