Man Accused of Raping Woman During Burglary Behind Bars

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of raping a 27-year-old woman during a burglary is behind bars. Prosecutors say 33-year-old Andrew Nerenal broke into the woman’s home off Wulff Road around 4am on February 21 and raped her. Nerenal was not required to plead when he stood before Magistrate Abigail Farrington. Bail was denied and he returns to court on May 25 to receive Voluntary Bill of Indictment papers.
