Man Accused of Recording Sexual Act With Minor Granted Bail

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of recording himself performing a sex act on a minor has been granted bail. Jeremiah Dean, 19, of Murphy Town, Abaco, faced charged of unlawful sexual intercourse and production of child pornography when he appeared before Magistrate Abigail Farrington. The charges stem from an incident that allegedly took place on the island on January 8. His bail was set at $9,000 and is forbidden from having contact with his alleged victim. Dean’s trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.
