Man Back Behind Bars on New Child Rape Charges After Serving Six Years

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who served six years in prison for raping a child he met on Facebook is back behind bars on new child rape charges. Prosecutors say thirty-seven-year-old Jahmal Daniels sexually assaulted two teenage girls, aged 15 and 16, last month. According to prosecutors, Daniels assaulted the 16-year-old girl February 23 and the younger girl the following day. Daniels faced charges of rape and unlawful sexual intercourse when he stood before Magistrate Abigail Farrington. Bail was denied and Daniels returns to court on June 10.
