NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The driver and the passenger of a Honda Pilot blamed each other for causing a deadly collision. Kiara Murphy and Delmaro Johnson are facing a charge of vehicular manslaughter in connection with the April 23, 2025 death of Timothy Stubbs. Johnson was driving along Carmichael Road on April 21 when the Honda Pilot veered into the path of a Nissan Cube driven by Stubbs. In his interview with police, Johnson claimed that Murphy grabbed the steering wheel while they were arguing and caused the collision. On the other hand, Murphy told police that Johnson lost control of the vehicle when he went to hit her. The trial continues before Justice Neil Brathwaite and a nine-member jury.
