Teen Charged With Deadly Homestead Street Shooting

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A teenager has been charged with murder in relation to a deadly shooting. Prosecutors say the 17-year-old Nassau resident is responsible for the March 13 shooting of 38-year-old Brent McPhee Jr at Homestead Street. According to police, McPhee was in front of a home when the occupants of a silver Honda Accord opened fire. The teen suspect was not required to enter a plea at his initial court appearance before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr. Bail was denied and the matter was adjourned to July 7 for the presentation 9f voluntary bill of indictment papers.
