According to the Associated Press, more than three thousand TSA workers missed shifts Monday and hundreds have already quit, causing long security lines at major airports including Atlanta, Houston and New York. Lawmakers are now considering a deal to fund most of the department while temporarily blocking new money for immigration enforcement operations at the center of the political dispute.
