Woman Pleads Guilty to Assaulting Elderly Man at Gas Station

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A woman has pleaded guilty to an attack on a 73-year-old lawyer that was caught on camera. Twenty-one-year-old Kadesha Oliver faced charges of causing damage and causing harm in relation to the viral video when she appeared before Senior Magistrate Anishka Isaacs. Gregory Armbrister was using the bathroom at the Esso on The Run service station on East Street South on March 21 when Oliver tried to get inside. In the surveillance video, she frantically tugs at the locked bathroom door and appears frustrated that she can’t get in. Once Armbrister exits the bathroom, Oliver shoves him and starts hitting him. During the attack, she broke his Ray Ban glasses and chain. Armbrister also sustained scratches to his face and shoulder. Oliver was fined $3,000 and ordered to pay Armbrister $900 in compensation to avoid spending six months in prison. She also has to complete a three-month-long anger management class. Oliver will be sent to prison for two months if she doesn’t.
